ESC - Electronic Speed Controller

What is an ESC?

ESC stands for Electronic Speed Controller. It is an electronic circuit that allows you to control the amount of power that goes to the motor. In other words, instead of having maximum power being sent to the motor, you can control the amount of power it receives. Some ESC have BEC (Batter Elimination Circuit) installed in them, and what that does is it also delivers powers to your recievers and servos. If your ESC doesn't have a BEC built in, you can get an External BEC and get it wired to your vehicle to send power to the reciever and servo.

Here is a quick video from Antonio explaining more in detail of what you should look for when buying an ESC.
